This calming space was created while tackling existing conditions. The large Post Oak had to be protected while treating the surface with a permeable path option. The crushed limestone provides a clean look that ties into the asian inspired space. In the small pool space an alternative to gravel was required. Artificial turf as a pool surround, is ideal for its permeability and cleanliness. Local weathered karst limestone adds to the surrounding native vegetation and is in keeping with the requested low maintenance and native space.
