Honey Tree Lane

After a major home addition this property was in need of a redesign to organize the space. A left to right slope and the disturbance of the surface adjoining the new garage contributed to a major drainage problem. A new limestone retaining wall and french drain at the property line redirects the uphill water flow. The newly cleared forest and ivy floor help to provide a backdrop for the homeowner’s sculpture collection. Crushed gravel pathways and patio space bring large gatherings into the newly planted yard and serve as a home for the often used grill. Seating is scattered throughout the landscape in various materials to blend with the natural style and the color palette.
