Travis Country

Native plants common to the hill country anchor all of the designs around the Travis Country Neighborhood. Salvia greggii, spineless prickly pear, wheelers sotol and mealy blue sage can be found in the three entries off of the main loop while the walking trail near the community pool and playground are flanked by understory trees and shrubs, all organically maintained. One of the first neighborhoods to go all native and all organic. This very active community is committed to good stewardship, as they are sitting over a sensitive recharge zone of Edwards Aquifer
